When we set out on our mission to help brilliant companies and entrepreneurs develop the go-to-market and growth strategies that will elevate their brands and drive revenue by discovering new market opportunities and audiences, we wanted to create a brand that would reflect this mission and our approach.

Float and gather is a metaphor for sifting away the noise, allowing the right markets and audiences to float up and be gathered. Every autumn, cranberry farmers flood their bogs to more easily gather the valuable fruit that floats up from the tangle of vines of the cranberry plant. Likewise, we help shake the vines, if you will, to let the valuable customers float to the surface, gathering to enjoy your products and services.

Float and gather’s founder, Paula Gould, grew up in cranberry country in Massachusetts and has a strong affinity for the super fruit that defined the surroundings of her childhood memories. Since leaving that bog town, she’s worked in various cities across a number of industries and has found this broad experience has helped her create strategies and campaigns using a variety of approaches that elevate brand visibility and speak to audiences who benefit from the products and services she has supported.

We believe that sustainable growth and successful go-to-market strategies involve the confluence of comprehensive goal setting, great brand stories, strong marketing, clear communications and network-building activities (we’ll spare you the venn).
